Compound Management
To support compound management a workbench platform is ideal for the manipulations required for getting the samples into the large storage facilities.
As water uptake in DMSO can compromise the compound collection due to precipitation it is very important to handle the compounds under an inert atmosphere with dry DMSO. This can be achieved by pipetting using our 2-channel probes, which allow argon to be dispensed before, during and or after the sample transfer step.
The formation of TFA salts, for example, increases the risk of precipitation. Utilising a solid phase extraction module on the system compounds can be easily converted to the free base form prior to archiving.
Sonication is effective at redissolving 50% of precipitated samples. A pick up ultrasonic probe or an ultrasonic bath can be integrated to automate this process.
